Ben finished high school at Brazoswood High School in Lake Jackson, went to Brazosport Junior College for a year, then to Texas A&M University for a year, and finally completed his undergraduate degree at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio.
Cece and her husband Tony moved from Springfield, Illinois, to Chicago for a couple of years, and then to San Antonio, Texas, where Bryan finished high school at James Madison High School. Ben and Bryan both worked at USAA Insurance Company while going to college — Bryan at the University of Texas at San Antonio, and Ben at St. Mary’s. They both married in San Antonio: Ben to Erica, and Bryan to Makenzi.
Ben later earned his master’s degree in IT from Aspen University in Colorado. After working for several different IT companies and going through a divorce from Erica, he started his own IT consulting firm.
Bryan earned his law degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston and is now the Legal Lead for the nuclear design and construction department at Zachry Design and Construction, headquartered in San Antonio.
My sons have beautiful children — my grandchildren. Ben’s daughters are Kendall and Kaleigh. Bryan’s children are Neely and Jack. They are very loved, and they are following in their parents’ footsteps. Kendall is attended the University of Houston and is now in Nursing School in Utah, and Kaleigh and Neely graduate from Texas A&M in the spring of 2026. I am looking forward to their ring‑dunk party. Jack will start his freshman year this fall at Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas.
